The monthly model

One responsible team.

Editable starting range for a straightforward managed brochure website. Final scope and price depend on content, pages, integrations, support needs, taxes, and onboarding. USD pricing is not a CAD conversion.

What we manage

Your website has a quiet list of jobs. We take ownership of the list.

A brochure site is small compared with your business, but it still needs someone to make decisions, keep details current, and notice when something is off.

01

Make the business understandable

Clear services, locations, proof, and next steps—written for the customer scanning between jobs, not for a design award.

Structure + copy
02

Make the next action obvious

Phone, email, quote, booking, or visit: we choose the useful path and remove the little obstacles around it.

Inquiry path
03

Give changes a clear path

Content changes follow the allowance or request process written into the agreement, so both sides know what is included.

Scoped changes
04

Mind the technical housekeeping

Managed hosting, certificates, basic performance, monitoring, backups where applicable, and the maintenance a small site still needs.

Managed hosting

The ownership shift

From “who has the login?” to “send us the change.”

Without a managed owner

  • Builder account nobody checks
  • Expired details stay public
  • Small edits become a project
  • Hosting questions bounce around
  • Redesign happens only when it hurts

With Digital Hatchway

  • A named team knows the site
  • Content changes follow an agreed scope
  • Hosting has an accountable owner
  • Site decisions stay documented
  • Improvements happen in useful steps

How it works

A small, legible process.

Enough structure to make the work dependable. Not so much ceremony that a five-page site needs a transformation committee.

  1. 01

    Review

We look at the current site, public presence, services, and what customers need to do next.

  2. 02

    Shape

We agree on fit, scope, starting content, responsibilities, and a clear monthly arrangement.

  3. 03

    Build

We design and assemble the site, then check it across screens before launch approval.

  4. 04

    Keep

We stay responsible for the agreed hosting and technical maintenance. Content changes follow the written allowance or request process.

A useful boundary

Built for service businesses—not every kind of website.

Strong fit

A clear business that needs a dependable front door.

  • Owner-operated local or regional service business
  • Roughly five to fifteen focused public pages
  • Low-to-moderate update frequency
  • Calls, emails, quote requests, or simple bookings
  • A managed relationship is more valuable than DIY control

Different project

Complex products need a different operating model.

  • E-commerce or marketplace operations
  • Membership portals or custom web applications
  • High-frequency publishing teams
  • Regulated transactions or complex integrations
  • Guaranteed rankings, leads, or revenue outcomes

Plain answers

Before you put us on the shortlist.

Need a detail that is not covered here? Ask it directly. A useful answer beats a polished sales call.

What is a managed brochure website?

It is a focused public website that explains your business, services, proof, service area, and contact path—with an ongoing team responsible for the agreed hosting and technical maintenance.

What does the monthly range include?

The starting range is for a straightforward managed brochure website. Exact pages, content work, setup, support, integrations, taxes, term, and update allowance must be confirmed in a written scope before work begins.

Are content updates unlimited?

No. Each agreement defines either a small edit allowance or paid changes on request. New pages, redesigns, integrations, and larger content work are separately scoped.

Do we keep our domain and content?

That should be written plainly in the final agreement. Our recommended model keeps the client's domain registered to the client and defines content, design, code, access, and handoff responsibilities before launch.

Do you guarantee search rankings or leads?

No. We build a technically sound, understandable site with useful local-business signals, but rankings and lead volume depend on competition, reputation, demand, advertising, and many factors outside a website build.

Do you work with Canadian and US businesses?

Yes. Digital Hatchway serves suitable owner-operated businesses in Canada and the United States. Canadian and US pricing are stated separately in CAD and USD.
